Home Depot, Inc. share losses contribute to Dow's 75-point fall

Shares of Home Depot and Inc. are seeing declines Tuesday afternoon, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average into negative territory. Shares of Home Depot HD, -3.82% and Inc. CRM, -2.75% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -0.33% was most recently trading 76 points (0.2%) lower. Home Depot’s shares have fallen $10.74, or 3.9%, while those of Inc. have dropped $6.34, or 2.6%, combining for a roughly 112-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Walmart WMT, -1.78%, Apple Inc. AAPL, -1.15%, and Walgreens Boots WBA, -1.27%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index equates to a 6.58-point swing.
