Apple Inc., Home Depot share losses lead Dow's 200-point fall

Dragged down by negative returns for shares of Apple Inc. and Home Depot, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is down Tuesday morning. The Dow DJIA, -0.40% was most recently trading 205 points lower (-0.7%), as shares of Apple Inc. AAPL, -2.40% and Home Depot HD, -5.27% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Apple Inc.’s shares have fallen $5.66, or 4.5%, while those of Home Depot have declined $12.01 (4.3%), combining for an approximately 116-point drag on the Dow. Salesforce.com Inc. CRM, -1.99%, Nike NKE, -2.64%, and Boeing BA, -0.07% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow equates to a 6.58-point swing.
